A tune up is the cheapest way to make a door last. We lubricate the springs, rollers, hinges, and bearings, check the balance and cables, test the safety sensors and auto reverse, and tighten the hardware. If something is close to failing, we tell you before it leaves you stuck. $69, or $59 total during our fall special through November 30.

Usually a cable has broken or slipped off the drum on one side, so that side drops lower than the other. Stop using the door and do not try to force it level. A crooked door can bind in the track or fall. Call or text us a photo and we will get it straightened out.
Start with the simple things. Replace the remote battery, and check whether the lock or vacation button on the wall control is turned on. Some LED light bulbs in the opener can also block the remote signal. If the wall button works but the remote does not, we can reprogram it or replace it.
Keep the tracks clear, and test the auto reverse once a month by closing the door on a roll of paper towels. It should touch the roll and go back up. A couple of times a year, spray the hinges and rollers with a garage door lubricant, not WD 40. Leave the springs, cables, and bottom brackets to a pro, since they are under high tension.

Torsion springs installed by Bart's Garage Doors are covered for 3 years from the install date, parts and labor. Other repairs are covered 90 days on labor and 1 year on parts. The warranty does not cover accidents, misuse, or work done by others.
