From a Brownsburg High School graduate and Navy veteran.
Brownsburg is where I grew up. I graduated from Brownsburg High School in 2002, served in the military, and came home to start Bart's Garage Doors, a veteran and family owned business. Today I live just down the road in Avon, so Brownsburg homes are a short drive away.
When you call, you get me. I look at the door, tell you what is wrong in plain English, and give you the full price before I pick up a tool.
Broken springs. This is the most common call we get. If your door suddenly feels heavy, will not open, or you heard a loud bang in the garage, a spring has most likely snapped. We replace it and can upgrade you to springs rated for more cycles so they last longer.
Cables and rollers. Frayed cables and worn rollers make a door crooked, noisy, or jumpy. We replace them and get the door running straight and quiet again.
Openers. We repair the opener you have or install a new LiftMaster, including quiet belt drive and wall mount models.
Tune ups. We lubricate the moving parts, balance the door, check the safety sensors, and make adjustments. $69, or $59 total during our fall special through November 30.
New doors. From a basic steel door to an insulated door with windows, we help you choose one that fits your house and your budget, then install it. See our doors and openers
Springs are rated for a set number of open and close cycles. The standard springs that come on most new doors are rated for about 10,000 cycles, which is roughly 7 to 10 years for a typical family. If your springs have been replaced before, there is no way to know what grade was put in. Cold weather makes the steel more likely to snap, which is why we see more broken springs in the winter. When we replace yours, we can install higher cycle springs that last longer.
No. The spring does the heavy lifting, not the opener. Without it, the door can drop fast. Leave it closed and give us a call or text.
Small adjustments and tune ups are on the low end. Springs, cables, and rollers are mid range. New openers and new doors are bigger projects that we price after seeing your garage. Every job is quoted upfront, and nothing starts until you say yes.
Yes. Military members and veterans get 10% off.
No. Estimates are free, even for repairs. We can quote by phone or text, or come out and look at the door in your garage at no charge.

Brownsburg gave me my start, and I am proud to take care of the families who live here now. Whether your door is stuck shut or just noisier than it should be, I am glad to help.
Estimates are free, by phone, by text, or in your garage. You approve the total before any work starts.
